| Borosilicate glass (boro for short), is known for its exceptional durability and unique colors. While not a Murano glass, this medium has taken hold by a handful of artisans in Murano. As it requires different techniques and torch setups than working with Murano glass, it is likely to remain the domain of only a few artists in Venice.
