| Venetian Bead Shop exclusive our new line of Silver Shimmers, the colors vary depending on the light here we get sparkle from the effect of silver on Acciaio (steel) wrapped in 24kt gold foil. The dichroic is then applied on top of the 24kt gold foil and finally encased in clear Murano Glass. Each bead is completely unique as the application method and dichroic achieve a different result in each bead. The size of these approximately 12mm rounds with a base of clear Moretti Glass. They are exquisite. A dichroic filter or thin-film filter is a very accurate color filter used to selectively pass light of a small range of colors while reflecting other colors (from Wikipedia) |
