| Description |
| Murano Lampwork beads made in working over an open flame, the artist studied at Abate Zanate school on Murano and works in her studio there. These beads range in size of about 16mm to 18mm and are annealed. The dots are made by first making a round bead then carefully placing each dot on the bead, then the bead is continually turned in the flame until the little bump is melted into the surface of the bead. Where there are multiple colors, this process is repeated on top of the original dot along with the firing afterwards to melt the dot into the bead. These Murano beads are fun in any design. They are made with the same Moretti glass as the traditional Venetian beads. Just a different artistic expression. |
