| Mouthblown in the furnace in Murano, these Venetian Beads are steeped in history. Our friends who normally make our wine glasses, vases, bowls and bottles became interested in our beads. They decided to try their hands at a few beads and the results are spectacular. Not only do they make the beads, they make the zanfirico canes and the base glass themselves each night in the furnace. When we want red, they make it. The hearts measure anywhere from 35mm to 40 mm across and from 35-45mm top to bottom with the hole vertically. They are approximately 20mm thick with a 2-3mm hole which runs through the center vertically. Each one of course is unique as all mouthblown glass differs. The color of this one are white zanfirico and transparent Topaz. Authentic Murano Glass. |
