| Description |
| Venetian Bead in the Fenicio style where a round bead is worked over the flame with a stringer to wrap a spiral of alternating color. Using a tool, the beadmaker carefully drags through these spirals to produce the effect shown here. A very old style of decoration. The twist is then formed by flattening the bead and heating the copper mandrel sufficiently to allow also twisting the mandrel. Handmade by our family who works at their hoome in Venice. |
