Dogaressa are named for the ornate handwork on each bead which features little scrolling and piping of colors and a small rose in the beads. Sometime also called Serenessima (after the empire of Veneto during the 14-16th Centuries).
These two styles are some of the more difficult beads to for our beadmakers to produce involving a longer time and greater skill.
