These Murano glass beads get their names from the stripes and dots of colors fround in the tiger and leopard. Made in Murano or Venice from Effetre Moretti glass. They are made by first forming an inner core of transparent glass, followed by rolling the molten glass bead over foil (used here 24kt gold foil, 24kt white gold foil and sterling silver). Then the stripes or random dots are added from other molten canes of glass. Finally the entire bead is encased in transparent glass to give the bead depth.
