First the Moretti clear glass must be imported from Murano to the US and the coating vacuum applied. We then take the glass back to Venice for our beadmakers to use in production. The technology is from the Aerospace industry which is where Brenda worked for many years in the sales and manufacture of communication satellites so she finds it really wonderful that the technology is now used in art and especially in bringing new products to the timeless tradition of Murano glass and Venetian glass.
