Venetian Beads Round. Round Venetian Glass beads are the most commonly made bead as it is the natural shape produced in beadmaking. By flowing the melting glass over the mandrel and continually turning the mandrel the centrifical force produced a round bead. Turn a bit too fast and it elongates, a bit to slow and you get a lopsided bead. (These I have made a lot of! it's really harder that it looks to produce a perfectly round bead.) Our Murano glass beads are available in 24kt gold foil, sterling silver, millefiori, mosaics, transparent, white gold foil, and of course our Venetian Dichroics.
