14mm Cluseau Multi Clear Murano Glass Bead, Round, Gold Foil

14mm Murano glass bead with 24kt gold foil and splashes of assorted bright colors. Shown here in vibrant colors of Red/Green/Cobalt glass. These beads are sometimes known as Cluseau, Gems or Jewelled and are made by first making the bead of the base color, usually clear or black, then covering exterior the bead with 24kt gold foil. Finally the bead is rolled in fine frit which are crushed bits of Moretti glass thus embedding these little jewels into the molten bead. A final topping of crystal clear glass gives them depth.
