Alessandrite Square White Gold 14mm, Venetian Glass Bead

Murano glass bead: 14mm square made with transparent colors over white gold foil and a 1mm hole. Available also in 20mm square and 11-12mm square. White gold is an alloy of actual gold and at least one white metal, usually nickel, manganese or palladium. White gold renders a more muted color than either sterling silver or yellow gold. The color is called Alessandrite in Italian and changes colors depending on the light. Outside it appears a more lilac pinkish color and in indoor lighting it appears a pale blue.
