Venetian Glass Beads blown in the shape of a heart with tiny slices of millefiori blown in. These Murano glass beads are blown working over a torch by our lamp workers. The millefiori is applied to the heart and then continued blowing distorts the shape of the millefiori giving it an antique look. No two are ever exactly alike the placement and the amount that the millefiori blows out in the process varies with each piece. The size is approximately 40mm lengthwise (the hole goes also lengthwise) and 35mm across and about 20-25mm puffy thick. The holes run top to bottom and are approximately 2mm in diameter, but it varies because it is handmade. The color of this one is Ametista (Amethyst or Purple) Murano Glass with varying sizes/shapes of Millefiori slices.
