Avventurina Swirls with Millefiori over Red and Black Disc 30mm, Murano Glass Bead

Venetian Glass Bead in a large disc approximately 30mm by 13mm thick with a 1mm hole. This bead incorporates many techniques, the fenicio of avventurina must first be pulled from chunks of avventurina. The slices of millefiori are carefully sliced and placed. The bead has a base of half black and half red Murano glass with slices of Red Murrine (lace) set on either side of the waves of Avventurina. It is a time consuming bead but so worth the work. This size makes a great focal bead or pendant.
