Blown Venetian Glass Bead, Blue & Dark Green, 20mm

Venetian Beads, Blown by mouth in the furnaces of Murano. Using the famous Moretti canes the canes are fused together and then blown. The canes give the beads the crisp lines. Blown by mouth each one is slightly different. They are quite light as they are hollow. Size is approximately 20mm round sphere with a hole size of approximately 2-3mm. Often copied but never successfully, these are original Murano glass from Murano. The colors in this one are our dark green (emerald) and cobalt blue with aventurina filigrana.
