Blue Sculptured Blown Bead 40mm

Our latest blown beads and a completely new creation by our blower. This combines two old techniques. First the bead is blown in the traditional method and afterwards it is taken to the grinding wheel to produce a grooved textured lines in the transparent colored portion leaving it slightly matted. The size of these is approximately 40mm and flat about 12-14mm thick so rather like a penny. The holes are larger in these as they are mouth blown, but using 2 bead caps with your headpin will secure them. Absolutely fantastic as a pendant. The glass is ground and is extremely after the grinding. The color in this one is 1/2 bluino (blue) and black filigrana/clear.
