Boro Curve Tube Symmetrical Necklace Black Perfection

Good News for those who like Symmetrical.
We had our blowers make the same beautiful boro tubes but so you can join in the center.
To make the necklace, you need a left black curve tube which has the hole in the top and a right tube (Looking at the necklace.) That's because the pieces are slightly curved to fit to the curvature of the neckline.
The curve tubes are our blown Boro Glass tubes, which you will see this design all over Venice. Two of our best bead makers join efforts to make most that you see. They work in Murano, and usually the center bead is Murano Glass and the curves are borosilicate glass, but blown in Murano.
The tubes are hollow and to accommodate the variances in sizes of the holes in the curve tube, I use beadcaps, which I put with the curved end of the cap into the opening in the tube, As the beadcaps are tapered, no matter the hole size or exact shape, they sink and help stabilize the necklace and also look good.
There are many possibilities for the center bead, and we're sure you'll find others we haven't through about.
To stabilize the center bead, it is possible to use wire wrapping. For this design, we did not. Some people will not be comfortable with a bead that moves....Così è la vita!! (Such is life!)
