Cobalt, Aventurina Spiral Oval Blown Venetian Glass Bead

Venetian blown glass bead shapes like a oval (hollow inside). Blown in the furnaces of Murano. Distinctive color stripes of translucent glass blown and twisted at the same time to give the spiral bi-color. Size is about 30mm or little less than 1 1/4 " long and 15-17mm diameter with a 2-3mm hole, though it varies are they are individually blown by artisans in Murano. No two are ever exactly alike. This one features Blue (Cobalt sometimes called Navy Blue) and aventurina filigrana in a spiral.
