Crimps & Crimp Covers

When using wire in stringing projects you will also need crimps to secure the ends of your wire.   The crimp covers just give a more finished appearance to your jewelry and the wire protectors are also very useful to prevent the stress at the ends of the wire.  Below is a handy chart to know which crimps are recomended with the sizes of wire.

.010 Very Fine	Ideal for embellishing, weaving, crocheting and string very small beads.	1x1mm
.014 Fine	Ideal for soft materials, seed beads and fresh water pearls	2x2mm
.019 Medium	Ideal all purpose wire.  Great with glass, stones and metal beads	2x2mm
.024 Heavy	Ideal for abrasive materials, larger glass beads, stones lampwork beads and bracelets.	2x3mm
