Lampwork Murano Fish in a Bottle Cobalt Blue Trim with Gold Fish

Authentic Murano Glass Lampwork. Lampworkers in Murano are 3rd and 4th generation in this field, taught by their fathers. The technique differs from bead making in that no mandrel is used, rather the animal or object is made right from the cane. They work with larger size canes and magically produce incredible fantasy objects. This clever little fish in a bottle brings back memories of childhood. These fish never need feeding, are forever and there is no cleaning. The bottle a little over 4 1/2 inches tall and about 1 and 1/4 diameter. The exact placement, shape of the fish vary. There are bubbles in the fish bag, because obviously the fish needs oxygen! The color of this decoration is cobalt blue and transparent black Murano glass.
