Murano Glass Sommerso Disc, 14mm, Aventurina & Yellow

Murano Glass Bead approximately 14mm in diameter in a disc (lentil) shape Sommerso featuring aventurina submerged beneath translucent glass. An approximately 1mm hole goes through the center. These are one of the oldest type of beads from Venice and Murano, the sparkle is provided by the aventurina (suspended copper particles). Authentic Murano Glass lampwork beads. The color in this one is Yellow - a Mustard Color, sometimes called Senape in Italian.
