These are known as our Murano Glass Windows Bead as there is a crystal glass over a core of 24kt gold foil with endcaps of opaque colors of Moretti Glass. Authentic Murano Glass Beads. The size is approximately 16mm round. The color of the two end caps is Turquoise. We call this a window bead because you can see through it. The cord of 24kt gold is surrounded by clear Murano Glass.

Murano bead lover

Unfortunately, this bead is a disappointment. The picture online is not what the bead looks like in hand. Instead of the white filling, the filling is clear. The bead looks like some vintage bead from the 1950's.

Thanks Mary, looking at the picture can see how you didn't understand that it is clear glass as you can see through it. Clear Glass is very difficult to photograph for just that reason. That's why we call it a "window" bead. And thanks for the compliment, a 1950s would be an expensive bead! If you do not want to use it you can always return it. We love the look.
