Opaque Red Fenicio Ovals Gold Foil 20mm Murano Glass Bead

Venetian Bead Classic design in the fenicio style. These Murano Glass beads measure approximately 12mm in diameter at the largest and 20mm in length. The fleur de lis style is achieved by first carefully applying with molten Moretti glass canes a circle of color, then dragging a tool through to produce the flower design. This design is often seen in french pastries also but is a classic bead design found Venice since the 1800s. Handmade with Murano Glass encasing 24kt gold foil. The color in this one is opaque red.
