Red with Black Lines Bicolor Blown Mini Cipollina Murano Glass Bead

A Blown Venetian glass bead in a cipollina which means little onion in Italian, like a small squashed round with a bi-color, swirl pattern. This bead is blown by mouth in the furnaces of Murano using the timeless traditions of Murano. This is our mini with the size approximately 12mm through the hole and about 16mm around, though it varies due to the handwork. No two are ever exactly alike. The color is transparent Red with eight fine lines of black following the swirl of the Red. These make fantastic earrings, they are lightweight and the glass sparkles in the light.
