Red with White Filigrano Rectangle Murano Furnace Glass, Cane Beads 25mm

This furnace glass, also known as Cane Beads is made in the furnaces in Murano by our friends who also blow beautiful vases, bowls and bottles. The length on these rectangles is about 25mm and by about 10-12mm. The ends are not perfect as they are chopped in the furnace - as they have been for centuries. They make beautiful earrings or links in necklaces. The hole inside varies as they are hand pulled, but nominally 1-2mm. The color is a base of red overlaid with lines of white filigrana and completely encased in clear Murano Glass.
