Sculptured Blown Murano Beads

These are the ultimate in blown beads and in techniques which combine a little of the tradition of Murano. They are mouthblown using the famous Murano mosaic canes which can have as many as 7 layers of color inside, similar to the canes used to produce the classic Chevron (or African trade bead). After they are cooled, they are then processed to reveal the inner layers of colors. This is a very labor intensive bead as each can must be worked individually to produce the exquisite details of the bead. No two ever exactly alike - but each a piece of art.
