Venetian blown glass bead shapes like a oval (hollow inside). Blown in the furnaces of Murano. Distinctive color stripes of translucent glass blown and twisted at the same time to give the spiral bi-color. Size is about 40mm or little less than 2 inches long and about 17-18 across and about 12mm thick, though it varies are they are individually blown by artisans in Murano. No two are ever exactly alike. This one features wide spiraled sashes of topaz and amber (light topaz) with black filigrana.
