Viola Marbled Murano Glass Heart, Gold Foil, 13mm

Authentic Murano Glass Beads, the style is called Marmo which means Marble in Italian, because they have a marbled appearance. The marbling effect is created by beginning with a base of ivory (white) Murano Glass and applying splashes of an opaque color along with 24KT Gold Foil and Avventurina (which is similar to copper flakes). This decoration is then completely encased in clear Murano Glass. The heart is approximately 13mm top to bottom with a hole which runs vertically through the bead. The are also approximately 13mm across and slightly puffy nominally 10mm thick. The exact size varies as does the location and decorations of the color/gold and aventurina. The splashes of color on this one are an opaque Viola (purple violet).
