Brilliant cobalt blue Murano Glass meets the cool shimmer of genuine sterling silver foil in this striking handmade Venetian glass bead.

This 18mm square bead, approximately 6mm thick, is individually handcrafted by a Murano glass artisan. A layer of .925 sterling silver foil is encased beneath rich cobalt blue glass, allowing the reflective silver to illuminate the color from within and create wonderful variations of blue as the bead catches the light.

The clean square shape gives this traditional Venetian glassmaking technique a contemporary look. Its generous 18mm size makes it an excellent focal bead for necklaces and bracelets, while the relatively slim 6mm profile keeps the design beautifully proportioned.
