Cube

One of the most popular shapes of Venetian and Murano glass beads are the cube shapes. From 6mm foil cubes to our larger, more decorative Abstract Cubes, this shape lends itself to a variety of different applications. Focal points on necklaces or simple earrings are just some of the possibilities that exist when using the Venetian and Murano glass cube beads.

Our cubes are first made by lampworking Murano glass into a round bead, then gently flattening each side until it's a cube. Some of these are a bit longer in the direction of the hole than an exact cube due to the handmade nature of these beads. The Venetian glass cubes are available in two styles, one with very straight sides produced by using a tool and with the rather soft sides produced strictly by hand has softer edges and varies in shape a bit more. They are available in 24kt gold foil, sterling silver, in the white hearts (incalmo) where the center is of milky white glass and the outside of a transparent Moretti glass, millefiori mosaics, as well as in white gold foil.
