Devoted 2 U Heart Earrings

Make this earring in a few minutes with only a couple of basic items.

 

Choose the color of your Swarovski Devoted2U Heart, Swaroski 6261. The double jump rings give the heart movement.

(4) 5mm Jump Rings Open

(2) 6mm Jump Rings Open

(2) Teardrop Silver Finding

(2) Ear Wires

Tools: 2 Flat Nose Pliers (for opening and closing the jump rings)

Step 1: Open one of your 6mm Jump Rings and put through the hold in the heart. Close tightly.

Step 2: Open one of your 5mm Jump Rings and put through the hole in the teardrop.

Step 3: Add the jump ring on your heart to the open 5mm Jump Ring and close tightly. Step 4. Open one of your 5mm Jump Rings, again put through the hold in the teardrop. Close tightly

Step 5: Open the ear wire loop and insert the jump ring from Step 4 above. Close tightly.

 

Your earring is complete, now follow the same steps for the second earring.

 

Alternatives: If you want the heart to remain stationary, use a larger jumpring directly into the teardrop. It will keep the heart flat parallel with the teardrop frame.

 

Add a matching pendant: Instead of the ear wire, add a bail and your necklace and you have a matching set of jewelry. This should all take about 15-20 minutes.
