This furnace glass, also known as Cane Beads is made in the furnaces in Murano by our friends who also blow beautiful vases, bowls and bottles. The length on these is about 25mm and about 10-12mm in diameter in an oval shape. The ends are not perfect as they are chopped in the furnace - as they have been for centuries. They make beautiful earrings or links in necklaces. The hole inside varies as they are hand pulled, but nominally 1-2mm. The color is a base of transparent Aqua Chiarissima, a pale aqua with streaks of aventurina, which gives it the sparkle, beneath a layer of clear Murano Glass.
